I’ve been wanting to do more with Danny Phantom for a while now. I feel like I’m still finding my footing with western cartoon designs like this one, but I’m much happier with this result than I am some of my past attempts.
Let me know if you guys want to see more of Danny around here. I have other ideas for him (both gay and straight). I actually have two different comic strips that both feature Danny in a bisexual role, so if there’s interest I might pick one of those up after I’ve wrapped up some of the current ongoings.
Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post, for the time being I’m regulating myself to smaller-scale pics that I can do in my current less-than-ideal set-up. Today’s pic is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, Timmy with his mom. I hope I’ll be able to do more Fairly OddParents stuff in the future; so far I haven’t done much with it despite it being one of my favorite shows back when it first started out. There’s a long list of characters I’d like to draw at some point, especially now that it’s been on for approximately forever, but I’d also like to try some more stuff of Timmy’s mom as well.
I’ve been meaning to do something with Chi-Chi for a while, and decided to do this quick little number in order to brush up on her design. One of the (hundreds) of comic ideas I’m sitting on focuses on these two characters, though I honestly have no idea if that comic will ever come to fruition. Hopefully my straight shota and incest fans will enjoy this one, since I think it’s been a while since I’ve done a pic like this.
I haven’t done much Futurama stuff in the past, but I used to be a really big fan of the show and would like to do more of it in the future. When I first started watching Futurama, I wasn’t allowed to see it and had to do so behind my parents’ back, so the early seasons of the show held the same thrill for me as porn (there were a few shows like this back then, but this was the only cartoon). Combine that with the amount of sexuality and brief nudity, and it’s a wonder I don’t do a lot more of it. Part of the problem is the art style which, like the Simpsons, I’m not 100% confident in my ability to translate into something sexy. I’m getting more confident as I do more Groening shows, but I still think I have a ways to go.
Speaking of how Futurama was a show I watched in my formative years, the episode “Roswell That Ends Well” was probably my first exposure to incest. At the very least it was definitely the first time I’d ever seen it depicted on television. I always thought Fry’s grandma was super hot, and I blame this episode for a lot of my incestuous tastes in porn. When I saw “Back to the Future” later that year, I kept cheering for Marty McFly to go ahead and bang his mom, but sadly that film had a different moral compass than Futurama.
A long time ago, I ran a poll asking folks who I should pair Jade Chan up with. At the time I was drawing her for a commission, and was wanting to do more with her. The poll ended up being a moot point, as the Sleepover Raid comic was commissioned soon after, and I had plenty of opportunities to draw Jade again.
However, I recently started getting the itch to draw Jade with herself, specifically her future version that appears in a couple of episodes. I always enjoy the contrast of a loli with a fully-developed woman, and the fact that both are Jade Chan is just icing on the cake.
