nd here’s the twentieth page of Addicted! Last little bit of recovery time for Ko.
Of course there’s a couple Persona 5 characters in the Studio Futaba could’ve hypothetically picked, but I’m really not super confident in her dynamics with any of them in the game and wouldn’t want to risk a pairing that wouldn’t make sense for this question. When it comes to finding crossover partners, I’ll usually either go off vibes or just a character the Subscriber posting the Ask likes, but I don’t really know this Subscriber’s tastes super well, nor do I know much about Futaba’s vibe beyond her being a shut-in and good with computers. I did end up with this idea of a more outgoing character helping Futaba get out more, like a positive influence on her, and I ended up going with Makoto as she just kinda felt right to me.
It’s been a minute since I did one of these… Like with Chris’s, I decided to model Goh’s bunny outfit off a bunny he’s associated with.
I haven’t done an Ask for this Subscriber in a minute, I think, and I had an idea for how they might like to see this one answered. Killua’s not only a perfect fit for someone who could catch Tokiyuki, I think. As for his answer here, I’ll leave it ambiguous as to whether he’s actually worse at evading now that he’s in the Studio, or his pursuers are just more skilled, or he’s just not as motivated to escape in this situation.
When I first moved from Patreon and SubscribeStar, one goal I set up was to start a sequel to one of my completed comics when I got back to the same income I had on Patreon. It took longer than I would’ve liked, mostly staying just shy of it for what felt like forever, but we’re finally there (more or less). So, I ran a poll with descriptions of potential sequels for all of my completed comics, and the winning one was this, a sequel to Fire Mountain Bliss. Fire Mountain Bliss was an early commission that ended up sitting incomplete in my work folder for years, but I eventually finished it and released it just so all that work wouldn’t go to waste. That comic followed a quick affair between End of Z Trunks and Buu Saga Chi-Chi (as the commissioner wanted), so we’re mirroring that here in the Sequel with End of Z Goten and Buu Saga Bulma. I’m not going to try as hard to imitate the Pandora’s Box style here (that was also a specification of the original commission), but I am trying to keep it feeling like mostly the same aesthetic of the original comic. These two comics are set in a different continuity to my other Dragon Ball work, not just due to the mix-and-match designs, but also because I don’t think these versions of Goten and Trunks have a history of sleeping with their moms like in Chi-Chi the Sitter, etc.

Obviously being a doting mother has different connotations in the Studio than it would in the real world, or the world Rio and Miles come from. Rio’s taken notes from other Studio moms like Chi-Chi, Bulma, etc., though, and is showing off what she’s learned here in this Ask. I was a little careless in my planning and ended up posting back-to-back Spider-Verse content, but I hope y’all can forgive me.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for April 2025 is April from the 90’s animated X-Men cartoon. I watched all the Marvel cartoons at this time when they were airing, and behind Spider-Man this was probably my favorite one. Rogue is pretty heavily shipped with Gambit in this series, who was my favorite X-Man when I was a kid. I wanted to include him, and I threw in a certain popular line from his recent film appearance for a bit of fun.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of May are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Marvel. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on May 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. I look forward to seeing who you all nominate this time around!

So I had two separate Subscribers looking to get new appearances from some old timers in the Studio, and I thought it’d be fun to combine them. I really love doing weird crossovers like this, and for some reason this pairing just spoke to me. Both are kinda answering for themselves here, though, but I hope y’all won’t mind checking in. I was quite fond of both of these ladies when I was in high school, so it was fun to draw them again after so long.
