Of course there’s a couple Persona 5 characters in the Studio Futaba could’ve hypothetically picked, but I’m really not super confident in her dynamics with any of them in the game and wouldn’t want to risk a pairing that wouldn’t make sense for this question. When it comes to finding crossover partners, I’ll usually either go off vibes or just a character the Subscriber posting the Ask likes, but I don’t really know this Subscriber’s tastes super well, nor do I know much about Futaba’s vibe beyond her being a shut-in and good with computers. I did end up with this idea of a more outgoing character helping Futaba get out more, like a positive influence on her, and I ended up going with Makoto as she just kinda felt right to me.

February ’25 One-Shot

So, if I’m not mistaken, this is actually our 100th One-Shot, which is wild to think about. I’ve been doing these monthly since the fall of 2016, and there’s still plenty more to come! This one was won by a relatively new Subscriber, and is a focus piece on Invincible’s Atom Eve. She’s a character I feel like there’s some demand for more of, so I hope y’all will enjoy this action with her. I think I personally would’ve stuck with pairing her with other ladies from Invincible, since there’s a lot of good ones I haven’t drawn yet, but they instead elected for a more eclectic lineup. I hope y’all will enjoy it!

With this Ask I wanted to go with someone who’s kinda in line with the types of villains Sailor Moon faces in her show, but is also completely removed from the genre. It’s a difficult balance to walk, but one I think provides the most interesting result, so I went with Demencia from Villainous. Demencia’s a character I always meant to do more with, and I think she makes a unique but interesting partner for Sailor Moon here as she explores the world of hero/villain play in the Studio.

Sailor Venus Character Ask 1

Minako Aino/Sailor Venus hasn’t appeared since the October 2021 One-Shot, the big Sailor Moon/Dragon Ball Z crossover. While this Ask by itself is kinda a basic one, I did think doing something new with her might be fun. I also thought it might add a bit to it if she brought back her partner from that One-Shot, Krillin, but enlisting the help of such a big cock for an anal demonstration comes with its own problems.

Rather than get into a numbers game, I figured Rei would more likely just claim she has better taste than Usagi. For her partner, I tried to go with someone who both pairs well with Sailor Mars and also wouldn’t raise too many complaints about her “quality”.

Another Ask with an answer I think people could easily predict. The only thing I had to consider here was who to pair Usagi with. I kinda wanted to keep up the theme of pairing her with Dragon Ball characters, but I didn’t want to go with any of the obvious big names. Maron’s only appeared a few times, and is a cute ditzy character I could see Usagi potentially vibing with.

It’s been a while since I watched Sailor Moon, but I remember Ami as being the the chillest of the main Sailor Scouts. She has some crushes, but I see her as the type who could fall for anyone if they treat her right. So, to illustrate that, I paired her with someone based off aesthetics rather than trying to find her taste, and I just thought her and Bra would look good together.
