Anubis Comparison

Yesterday I shared a video, and in it this picture appears. I realized watching it back that this pic never got published publicly, even though it should have by now. It seems I just forgot to add it to my schedule when I finished it, so I re-arranged things to make it today’s post.

This commission is a follow-up to the client’s commission the month before, where he had me draw cute versions of the Anubis army from “The Mummy Returns”. This time he wanted a side-by-side comparison of the redesign and the original design, with the movie version looking as aggressive and scary as possible. So… yeah, that’s what this is. Nothing more, nothing less.

May ’18 One-Shot

So the winning One-Shot script was described as a “MomSwap” comic, which might seem odd to those unfamiliar with my work since there’s no swapping of moms on this page. MomSwap is a series I run that’s based on a fictional app for young girls to trade moms for an evening, and the pictures I release are all their accounts (based on apps like Tindr or whatever). So the pics are all mother/daughter stuff (even if I do hope to one day show some actual swapping), and this comic page is basically just four pairings I hadn’t done yet that the person who submitted the idea wanted to see. Of course, last month I did post a Jazmine/Sarah MomSwap entry, but that had not been released when this script was submitted. I don’t know if I’ll ever do Lisa and Marge for the app, since The Simpsons always feel weird to me when they cross over with non-yellow properties, but the Possible and Fenton pairings are both ones you’ll almost certainly see sooner or later. Like with Jazmine and Sarah, they’ll be different than what’s shown here. The MomSwap apps show a number of photos each account has attached (it’s the number next to the camera icon in the corner of the image), so I like to think of the pics on this comic page as extra photos from those galleries.

Also, some time last month I ran a trial Q & A session with a video for my supporters. It was a test run, but I might do more as I enjoyed it and those who participated seemed to as well. I went back and forth on if I wanted to release the video publicly, and ultimately I decided it’d be fun to. I might do more videos in this style, not just answer vids but maybe vids on topics I get asked about a lot (I was thinking one early one might be discussing my issues with Naruto, which I get tired of explaining every few weeks). Anyway, below is the video, I hope you all find it entertaining.

An Unlikely Meeting, Page 6

So this is the final page of “An Unlikely Meeting”. The final panel(s) was left up to me, so I took a suggestion someone gave and used that space to explain the whole comic as the cum-drunk dream of an older Gohan. After passing out from too many orgasms with Goten and Trunks, he dreamt he was a teen again, and his father was a kid, and there you have the comic. Alternative suggestions were to involve the Dragon Balls (which seemed a bit much to me, honestly) or to just do some fourth wall breaking. In the end I thought this worked best, and also worked with the script that won out which was all focused on Gohan.

hentaib – Mickey and the Queen, Page 5

http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/hentaib

Here’s the fifth page of hentaib’s Mickey/Minnie comic in color! Mickey’s really going all-in on his assault on the possessed Minnie. It’s not clear if he’s actually getting through to the real Minnie, but at the very least the ghost possessing her seems to be having a good time!

Mentoring Artie

This here is Artie Smarty, the son of the owner of Smart-Mart in the Kim Possible universe. He’s a one-episode character, basically a complete brat that Ron’s supposed to mentor and help become a better person. The episode focuses in large part on Ron and Artie interacting, with Ron’s goofiness doing little to dissuade the rebellious punk skater kid. I actually wanted to draw Artie back a year or two ago when I re-watched the series to share it with my sister, but I forgot about him. While looking up reference material for the May One-Shot (which will be released publicly in June) I was reminded of him and decided not to forget a second time. I really like his design, and even though I may never draw him again I am pretty seriously considering basing an Applebridge character off of him so I can do more stuff with a shota along these lines. >:D

MomSwap – LaCienega and Sunset Boulevardez

This is the second Proud Family entry into the MomSwap series, and probably it’ll be the last. LaCienega is the bitchy rival character to Penny from that series (though later on they become sort-of friends). Sunset, her mom, is Penny’s mom’s best friend, so they have sort of a weird relationship with the main family. I don’t actually recall how LaCienega and Sunset’s relationship works, but that’s okay. I would like to point out that I had to tone down LaCienega’s feet quite a bit. In the show they’re almost as long as her legs, which is just too over the top, but I did still make them a bit larger than I normally would.
