When I first read this question, I immediately pictured Darkness failing at being a Domme and getting berated for it, which would turn her on. I considered illustrating that scene for the answer, but I wasn’t really sure of the best way to convey it. The more I thought about it, though, the more in-character it felt to just have Darkness getting worked up over the idea of it, instead of actually trying to dominate another character herself.
It took a while, but here’s another U.A. Wall entry. I figured Shinso would need some kind of warning label on his spot in the wall, since his quirk could still pose a problem even in this situation.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for November 2023 is Carrot, a bunny girl from later in One Piece. She’s been brought up a handful of times by some of my Subscribers, so I know a little about her, but the stretch of the series she’s from is far past where my familiarity with One Piece ends. I decided to watch some clips of her when figuring out what to do with her, and saw a handful of cute scenes that make me think she ships well with Wanda, another furry/Mink character she seems pretty close to. Wanda ended up not being super visible here, but I think her flamboyant hat helps keep her recognizable.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of December are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, One Piece. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on December 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. For the second page of Beach Treat I had a difficult balance to strike with the submitted scripts. The final page I settled on is kind of its own thing removed from any one direction people were pushing the comic, I think, but uses elements from what was submitted to get there. The first panel is something I really wanted to work into this comic but didn’t think would fit in later, though, so I kinda pulled an executive decision to fit it in.
Like last month’s winner, this One-Shot script is a sequel of sorts to a previous one. In that one we saw a variety of characters in the Studio gym, but this time we focus just on A-ko as she pairs with a handful of different characters. Since this was the October script, it was specified that it should be “after hours”, hence the darker color palette than last time.
Carmella Creeper is a new character made for the General Mills line of monster-themed cereals that I expect most people are at least a little familiar with. For thirty-five years the monster line-up has been Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry (the main three we see around Halloween every year), as well as the mostly discontinued Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy. This year they added Carmella, a caramel apple zombie DJ girl. I’m not personally a huge fan of the design, ’cause she feels way too different from her boomer compatriots, but in a vacuum I think she’s fine. I wanted to squeeze out one simple pic with her for Halloween this year to celebrate, ’cause even if I think she feels out of place I still think it’s cool to see a new monster cereal mascot be introduced. I can’t say if she’ll show up again, but I’m happy with this little pic of her at least.
Like every year, I wanted to add a new monster type to my Spookyverse cast of original characters. I’m running a bit low on ideas for characters, but one monster I’ve never done is a pumpkin/Jack-O-Lantern type creature. There’s a few different ways to do this type of monster, but I went with a design I thought could be fun and sexy. Hopefully everyone agrees. So, let me introduce Ember and Silas Holloway!
