This is a pic I started a while ago but ended up on the shelf for a bit. At the time was worried about doing too much Eda-focused content too quickly, but now that it’s been a minute since her last appearance I figured it’d be an okay time to pick this one back up and wrap it up.
I’m not sure if this Ask was looking for swordplay or not, but when I was thinking of who Erza might could spar with the first person I thought of was Casca. I like Casca a lot, and I thought she’d look good with Erza, so I decided to do my best to give a fun answer with both of them that I hope some of y’all will enjoy.
Joseph Joestar’s not really the type of character I usually go for, but I do like him a lot and I think he has a good look. I just did a simple little pin-up of him here, but we’ll see if he gets up to any trouble in the Studio going forward.
Allister is one of those characters who I like, but mostly in passing, but is also really well-received whenever I draw him despite me having no real ideas for him. So, like the other characters who fit that specific criteria, I try and fit in Asks for him every now and then for the people who like seeing him. I had a different situation in mind for him at first, but it wasn’t working as well as I would’ve liked in the Ask dimensions, so I retooled it into a simple full nelson pic, which I think is always fun.
Berryblue is a member of Frieza’s force, a veteran from King Cold’s era and Frieza’s childhood nanny. She plays a minor role in the most recent Broly film, and she immediately caught my eye. I waited a long time to finally do something with her, but I find her design incredibly charming and wanted to draw her at least once. Since I’m in need of some quick and easy turnarounds right now, a simple little pin-up with her seemed just right for the moment.
This page of the BooBies Calendar marks a bit of a milestone, in that it’s the first new drawing for this project since 2014. On Discord we decided to name this girl Eliza, and she’s our sole glasses girl. I decided to go with a bit of a more sophisticated pose for her, and I hope y’all will enjoy.
The winner of the October Near Hentai Monthly Lady is Ciel Kirahoshi, also known as Cure Parfait in KiraKira☆Pretty Cure A La Mode. I’ve only personally seen one version of PreCure, and that’s Smile PreCure! (before Netflix rebranded it as Glitter Force). That being said, the reason I watched Smile at all is that I have a close friend who is a big fan of the franchise, so I have a lot of adjacent familiarity with it and the characters. That same friend is part of why I’m not super invested in drawing PreCure much, but here for this pic I decided to pair Ciel up with Usami Ichika (Cure Whip), the protagonist of KiraKira.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of November are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Pretty Cure. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on November 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. I’ve been struggling to find the right way to use Envy for any content, but I figured this Ask calling back to how he entered the Studio might be fun. It also gives me a chance to use Thorfinn again, a character many people like but I just don’t have a ton of passion/ideas for.
Third page of the current SubscribeStar Yaoi Ongoing! The submitted scripts for this one kinda skewed in a few directions, but had a similar theme. I tried to capture the spirit of what it seemed like most of the Subscribers who submitted were looking for.
It’s funny, but we’re only one month off from this being a year separated from the One-Shot it’s a sequel to. In that one we saw Trunks and Goten invading the U.A. dorms and having fun with several students, but this time the same Subscriber has Bra and Pan doing the invasion. I hope you all enjoy seeing these two make their way around the dorms!
