Here’s the One-Shot comic for February 2023, using a script submitted by one of my Subscribers per usual. The idea here was framed as an inter-school competition of some sort between U.A. and Jujutsu Tech, though I don’t know if these scenes depict the contests themselves or just the participants having fun on their own during the event. Either way, there’s a lot of popular characters here, so I hope y’all will enjoy seeing them interact here.
Sometimes, when it comes to a crossover pairing, I like to indulge in them just because of how well the characters fit together. This was the case in the last Ask I did. Other times, however, the nonsense of the crossover is fun to play with. That’s the case here. These characters are connected only through the NHML raffle. I mentioned before, I believe, that in the Studio the previous NHML winners will hold a monthly celebration for that month’s winner joining their little club. Not every NHML winner attends every party, but it seems Vados made it out to Chastity’s. I’m mostly just happy to see Chastity getting some attention, since I doubt many people knew who she was when she won the November drawing. Also, it’s just nice to see more of Vados.
Evan King is the monster hunter character I introduced in my last Halloween pic, an aspiring Van Helsing-type who seems to always end up becoming the plaything of the monsters he hunts. Loona’s kind of a natural pairing for him, and I haven’t drawn her much at all outside of one commission where she’s mostly hidden. I dunno why, but I thought the idea of Loona toying with him with her feet was particularly funny, like an absurd way to end up helpless, but I hope y’all will enjoy getting to see a bit more of her as well as our first look at Evan without his hooded jacket.
How much you wanna bet Midnight busts out some variation of that line every time she fucks Darkness? At any rate, this seems like kind of an obvious crossover ship to me, but it’s one I hadn’t done. I decided to go lighter with it, since I had Darkness all tied up in her last Ask, but I could see doing some heavier BDSM with these two at some point, potentially.
When I was thinking about what 1 Club pic to do next, it occurred to me it’d been about a year since I first drew Xandir and that Link had more than ten pics. The pairing kind of made too much sense, even though most of the 1 Club pics so far haven’t had a super strong connection between the characters. Still, I thought it’d be fun to see Link fucking a character parodying him, so here we are.
I included Levi in the most recent First Shoot poll just because he seemed kinda popular amongst AOT fans. I only barely know who he is, but I tried to capture my impression of his personality here. His partner, Pomeline, is a central character in DC’s Gotham Academy. I drew her a couple times back when I had an Epic (monthly commission) Tier on Patreon, for a supporter who really liked the series (though he mostly commissioned Olive and Maps).
So, when I picked these two for Mikasa’s Ask earlier, it was because I pictured them already becoming friends in the Studio (the idea being Mikasa approaching them at the same time). It’s just very easy for me to picture Yuji being endlessly amused by Inosuke’s antics, and I think their respective energies would play off each other well. I decided to not go into having them fucking in this Ask, I thought something like this felt more natural, but maybe somewhere down the line we’ll see that change.
When I read this question, I immediately thought about how Yor seems to have trouble socializing with the other women at her day job in Spy x Family. So it seemed obvious to me that I should pair her with someone in the Studio and have her answer along these lines. The only part I needed to think about was who to pair her with, and I settled on Mito. Besides being a character I haven’t drawn in a minute, it’s easy for me to picture her and Yor getting along well, maybe Yor even looking up to her as a maternal figure (since Yor has insecurities about being a housewife, and Mito’s a pro at it). Also, it’s a little funny to me to crossover the to “Something x Something” shows.
