Sabagebu! is one of those shows I watched and mostly just thought was okay, but I ended up liking a few of the characters disproportionately to how I felt about the show. I drew Momoka a while ago with one of the other girls, but I thought she had a pretty hot mom and that they’d make a good fit for this series.
This is a pretty simple one, but I had this idea for how Scott might answer. I figured some people might like to see a different side of Scott than what he showed in his debut, so here he is.
I picked Amy for this cover during the midst of our 1 Club poll tournament on Discord. At the time she was doing very well, but I had no idea she was going to win it, so I figured people would be happy to see her here. The theme for this magazine was furries, as a follow-up to the animal-themed characters nominated for the last one.
Here we see a return of Clayface in his Stephanie persona. I still have a pic I wanna do at some point based on this episode of HBO’s Harley Quinn series, but I thought this Ask sounded fun and I wanted to play a bit into some of the dialogue from that episode. Beyond that, this is also the first Ask this version of Harley has answered, as the previous ones were done with the comic or B:TAS versions of the character.
Here’s another entry for the Near Pokédex, Roserade! I thought this Pokémon had some good thicc twink energy, and would be a good fit for this series.
This is a simple one, but I just kinda thought these two made sense as friendly acquaintances. I had this idea for their interaction I thought might be cute, so I hope y’all like it.
A couple days ago I shared Ty Lee’s pic for winning second place in our 1 Club-themed poll tournament on Discord. The first-place prize is a one-on-one pic between the winner and a Studio member of their choice, but it can’t be someone they’ve worked with before. Mirio has developed a bit of a reputation with some of the Studio furries, and Amy decided to cash in her victory to get herself some. Amy’s win came as a bit of a surprise to me, since furries have not historically done well in these polls, but people seemed to really want to see more of her. Luckily, she has another pic coming up soon, so if you’re a fan of hers look forward to that.
I don’t really have any love for SAO or Kirito, but I thought some folks might like a better shot of him than we had in his debut. I don’t really have much to say for this one, but I hope some of y’all will like it.
So some of you may remember a while back we ran a 512 character tournament on my SubscribeStar‘s Discord, with the top two characters both getting pics. The tournament rounds were all decided by Discord votes, and I’m looking to make it a regular recurring thing we do. We ran a second tournament, and this time there was a gimmick attached in that all 512 characters were (at the start of the tournament, at least) in the infamous 1 Club here at Near Hentai. That tournament wrapped recently, and the second place winner (who gets a pin-up) was Ty Lee. I considered doing a flexible/gymnastics pose with her, but I sort of already did that with her NHML pic and the poses I was coming up with mostly felt redundant to that. I decided to just do a pose I thought showed her off well, even if it doesn’t capitalize on her flexibility, and I hope y’all like it.
Katara may not know how exactly to describe her new dynamic with Azula, but it seems they’re having fun, at least.
