So here’s the bio page for Mitsen Pakugou, the Fusion of Helen Parr and Mistuki Bakugou. I wasn’t happy with my original drawing of this gal, and the main reason for it was the angle I chose. I didn’t really think about it until it was too late, but my idea of having Mitsuki’s spiky hair transition into the point on Helen’s right side didn’t read well in profile, and I ended up unsure how to handle her hairstyle drawing it from that angle for the first time. I also just think her facial features are harder to read in profile, and really I regret going with that angle for my first time drawing her. Here I made sure to draw her face-front so I could focus on doing her the way I wanted, and I think she turned out a bit better as a result. Anyway, hope you all like her!

Character Asks Crossover Hunter × Hunter Spy × Family

Yor Forger Character Ask 1

When I read this question, I immediately thought about how Yor seems to have trouble socializing with the other women at her day job in Spy x Family. So it seemed obvious to me that I should pair her with someone in the Studio and have her answer along these lines. The only part I needed to think about was who to pair her with, and I settled on Mito. Besides being a character I haven’t drawn in a minute, it’s easy for me to picture her and Yor getting along well, maybe Yor even looking up to her as a maternal figure (since Yor has insecurities about being a housewife, and Mito’s a pro at it). Also, it’s a little funny to me to crossover the to “Something x Something” shows.

Digimon Near Hentai Monthly Lady

The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for February 2023 is Zoe Orimoto from Digimon Frontier. I only watched the original Adventure anime, so I only know these character tangentially. I went through a handful of potential partners for her, but decided it’d be fun to pair her with this season’s T.K., Tommy Himi.

Also, I’m trying out a new approach where I post the NHML alongside the original post, so expect a second pic later today.

With this post, NHML nominations for the month of March are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Digimon. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on March 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. Alien Registration Comic One-Shots Space Dandy

January ’23 One-Shot

Here’s our One-Shot comic for January of 2023, featuring Space Dandy! Like always, this comic’s script came from one of my SubscribeStar supporters. Space Dandy is a show I was really into back when it first aired. I watched every episode, and my first big breakout AMV was a Space Dandy one. I had an ongoing Calendar project based on the BooBies franchise, and had several pic ideas and even a comic planned (the comic would’ve looked a lot like the last panel of this comic, but for six pages). It all kinda fell apart, though, but I’ve been thinking about getting back to a lot of it soon. I’m working on the BooBies Calendar again, and even toying with dusting off that comic. I also think this alien registration idea has potential, so maybe we’ll see Dandy registering some alien gals from other properties, too.

This is kind of a simple Ask just getting some action between Veldora and Rimuru finally. I don’t have too much to say here, other than I think Veldora would respect Rimuru’s ability to get around with other people (like how he shares him with his other friends and allies in the anime). I do think Veldora would take everything Rimuru’s willing to give, though.

First Shoot #4 – Peridot

Here’s the last of the three First Shoot debuts that tied in our second poll! Peridot was one I was personally rooting for, but didn’t expect to do well. Of the main five gems in Steven Universe, she’s the only one I’d never drawn, though not for a lack of trying. I actually drew Peridot with Lapis back when she first appeared in the series (during the period where Lapis was her prisoner). While I had that pic in my drafts, they revealed that her arms and legs had extensions on them and she was actually short, and that kinda made my pic feel dated so I dropped it. I tried drawing her with Lapis a few more times since then, but the pics just never came together for one reason or another. So here she is now, in all her glory, paired with Kai from The Legend of Korra. This is Kai’s first appearance in color, as I’ve only drawn him in an old lineart commission before now.
