Since Beerus got fucked by Goku and Vegeta at once in that Scenario, it seemed right that Broly would be his partner for the follow-up. When these two interact in fan content, it’s usually in the context of Beerus cucking Broly, I believe. While I’m down for that, and I’ve drawn Beerus with Cheelai before, I thought a different dynamic might be fun to explore here.
Last year we started a new Halloween tradition of a highlight comic set in the Studio Halloween party. Like last year, our randomly-selected costume model, Space Beth, takes the center panel while we check in around the party with the rest. I know some characters who appear here may be hard to place, especially in the glory hole panel, and I imagine some will only be identifiable through the tags in the public post. I’m pretty happy with how this comic turned out, and I hope y’all will enjoy seeing some of the Studio residents enjoying the spooky season.
I always liked the West Supreme Kai’s design, so it was fun to draw her again here. I do apologize for making her so much the focus, but it’s so easy to do with Beerus stuff since you can usually recognize him no matter how little of his body is in-frame.
As Beerus mentions in his answer, for this type of question we often see a “Porque no los dos?” approach. In this case I did think there was a choice Beerus would make, though, but I figured he wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to indulge a little bit regardless.
This Subscriber has been pushing for something with Beerus bottoming for a while. The biggest obstacle to this was that their Asks and such mostly hinged in this premise of swapping roles to train Beerus. Since Beerus isn’t the one who trains Goku and Vegeta, it never made much sense to me to use those questions. For Scenarios I have a bit more wiggle room to play with, however, so I basically abandoned that element of the scene to instead fork in dialogue about the character who’s actually training them, Whis, who I’ve already drawn with all three of these characters at different points.
So this one may seem pretty straightforward, but I feel like I haven’t drawn Whis and Beerus much and thought they’d be fun to revisit. I kinda see these two keeping up their same dynamic in the Studio, even if they don’t carry their official titles and responsibilities anymore. I like to think Whis just genuinely enjoys taking care of Beerus.
It’s true that I usually draw Goku in his base form, but I had a feeling this Ask was looking for a specific transformation I’d mentioned wanting to use for bottoming in the past. I haven’t talked about it much, but a third comic I never started alongside Special Training and Space Emperor Slut was focused on Super Saiya-jin God Goku teaming up with Whis to bottom to Beerus, so I used that for inspiration in handling this Ask.
I thought this Dare would be a fun excuse to let Gohan get ravaged by another guy in Dragon Ball he hasn’t yet, and people seem to like seeing Beerus too. I figured this Dare could be framed similarly to Surge’s Ask with Beerus ’cause, well… I think it’s a good angle, personally.
There’s a few ways I could’ve gone with this, I think, but in the end I thought an angle like this would be fun. Beerus being purple also allows me to make him recognizeable while not necessarily drawing all of him, something that’s useful for a day like today when I have a lot of other work to get to. For Bererus’ part, the last time I drew him he was fucking a different spritely little green lady, so Peridot might want to be on the lookout.
So there’s a brief scene in Dragon Ball: Super Hero where Beerus sees Cheelai for the first time and is clearly smitten with her. While I personally prefer Beerus/Whis and Broly/Cheelai, it’s fun to change things up and I figured some people might enjoy seeing this pairing.
