This is a Master Mini Commission for one of my Subscribers, featuring Gajeel, Levy and Sherria from Fairy Tail. I don’t know a ton about these characters, except that Gajeel and Levy are an item. Given how little reference I could find of Levy and Sherria next to each other (for height measuring purposes), I get the impression Sherria’s not as connected to the other two and might just be here to round out the number of Fairy Tail characters in the Studio. The Subscriber behind this one suggested the name for the pic. I’m not usually super into the Fairy Tail girls, there’s only a couple that interest me much at all, but Levy is one of them so it’s kinda nice to get to draw here here.
This Subscriber has been trying to get something with Wendy and Carla for a while. However, since I don’t watch Fairy Tail, I don’t really know enough about their dynamic (or even individually) to do anything with them. I only even know they’re friends because of questions submitted to them. So, even though I don’t really have anything to offer with them, here they are anyway.
Since I’ve never watched Fairy Tail, I don’t have a strong grasp of Natsu and Gray’s relationship beyond assumptions I can make from other series I’ve watched with an outgoing protagonist and his sullen friend. That being said, this felt like the appropriate response to me, and I guess we’ll see if there’s ever a more definitive answer. For now I figured this would be a good chance for fans of Natsu to see a bit more of him.
The first Near Hentai Monthly Lady in 2024 is Zera from Fairy Tail. I don’t know anything about this girl, but it was clear at a glance that she’s heavily tied to Mavis Vermillion, another girl I know nothing about but has been nominated for NHML a number of times. Glancing around it seemed like the only sensible pairing to do with Zera, so here they are.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of February are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Fairy Tail. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on February 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. I look forward to seeing who you all nominate this time around!
So, like with Giyu’s debut, this pic is the result of a small guessing game I ran among Subscribers. The winner of this game is the main pusher of Fairy Tail and Edens Zero content from me, so of course they wanted to get another face from those franchises in the Studio. Carla’s human form has been nominated for NHML quite a bit, but she never won the raffle. Instead she gets inhere, with this cute little pin-up I hope y’all will enjoy.
I’m not sure if this Ask was looking for swordplay or not, but when I was thinking of who Erza might could spar with the first person I thought of was Casca. I like Casca a lot, and I thought she’d look good with Erza, so I decided to do my best to give a fun answer with both of them that I hope some of y’all will enjoy.
The winning One-Shot script for July of 2023 was submitted by a Subscriber who’s always pushing for more Fairy Tail and FT-adjacent content, so naturally the script itself is full of Fairy Tail and Edens Zero characters. I don’t really know anything about any of these characters, but hopefully I did them justice for fans of these series. All of these characters are new to the Studio, too, so I guess that’s kind of exciting for anyone who wanted to see more FT or EZ from me. A lot of the characters from these shows, especially the ladies, tend to sport multiple looks throughout the series. I don’t always know which looks are preferred by fans, or are the more iconic designs or whatever, but I tried to go with the designs I saw the most in my Google searches or that I personally liked.
So the NHML winner this time around is Lucy Ashley, an alternate universe Lucy Heartfilia from Fairy Tail. I’ve barely seen any of Fairy Tail, so I don’t know too much about the AU stiff within the series, but it seems like Lucy’s mostly a more aggressive Lucy. I did toy with pairing the Lucys up for this pic, since the original Lucy also debuted in an NHML pic (although she wasn’t the NHML herself), but I decided to instead pair her with Natsu Dragion, her universe’s Natsu.

I know this one’s not super interesting on the face of it, but I know there’s some demand for Fairy Tail content and I haven’t drawn these three together yet. I’ve gotten a lot of Fairy Tail Asks submitted, but they’re often ones I can’t work with for one reason or another, so I grabbed this one ’cause I at least had a way to answer it.
