Power was the third winner from this poll, tying with Rukia and Jeice. She’s become a real popular character since Chainsaw Man blew up, and I expect we’ll probably be seeing her around quite a bit. Her random partner, The Thing, was kind of a surprise, but I thought the idea of her not listening to him and insisting on calling him the Rock Devil would play well against his gruff personality.
So there’s a brief scene in Dragon Ball: Super Hero where Beerus sees Cheelai for the first time and is clearly smitten with her. While I personally prefer Beerus/Whis and Broly/Cheelai, it’s fun to change things up and I figured some people might enjoy seeing this pairing.
This page took longer than I thought it would, I guess I’m out of the honeymoon phase with this comic. Canary is a character with minimal appearances in Hunter × Hunter. I haven’t drawn her much, but I really like her and thought she’d be a fun fit for this comic. So here she is, finally, and I hope you all enjoy seeing her here on the Butt Witch’s stream. Hopefully the next page won’t take quite so long.
Shortly after Sylvia’s NHML pic dropped, a number of Asks dropped trying to pair her up with other Studio members, which I was very happy to see. The main contenders seemed to be Gohan and Alexis Rhodes, and since I just know DBZ better than YGO I went with one of Gohan’s Asks here. I thought he might have some thoughts on the ways characters tend to fall into familiar routines in the Studio, even if they don’t really have to any more. I also figured he might as well be fucking Sylvia while he thought about it.
A simple little low-angle shot of Aki, nothing special. These foreshortening-heavy pics can go one of two ways, but I think this one turned out pretty alright. I went with his hair-down look, since I think it’s a little more flattering than his usual ponytail.
When I saw this question, I immediately liked the idea of Goku only being able to name physical differences between the brothers. I could’ve just had Goku fucking Cooler here, like in Cooler’s other Ask appearances, but I decided instead I preferred the idea of Cooler and Frieza sharing Goku’s cock. I think it helps highlight why Goku can’t think of any other real differences he sees in them.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for April 2023 is Ayame, a character introduced to the anime adaptation of Inuyasha to give Kōga a love interest after he loses the love triangle with the protagonists. I happen to know she was nominated by someone specifically wanting to get Kōga in the Studio, which made my impulse to pair her with Kagome instead… but in the end she exists solely to be paired with Kōga, so here she is with Kōga.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of May are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Inuyasha. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. I know this one’s not super interesting on the face of it, but I know there’s some demand for Fairy Tail content and I haven’t drawn these three together yet. I’ve gotten a lot of Fairy Tail Asks submitted, but they’re often ones I can’t work with for one reason or another, so I grabbed this one ’cause I at least had a way to answer it.
And here is our final page of Coed Capers! A couple of scripts had the girls outlasting the boys, and I thought seeing Gohan and Deku fall asleep together would be cute. The main theme I saw in the submitted scripts was the boys following through on Rumi’s request to give it to Uraraka, and it looks like she enjoyed it. Next time around we’ll be starting a new bi comic, wonder what it’ll be?
