I was pleased to see Kaito get a fairly warm reception when I first introduced him. Obviously as a harem protagonist his main role was meant to be a guy who fucks a lot of girls, but it’s not like his comic is ever going to see the light of day. None of his ladies have made it to the Studio yet, either, so he might as well experiment a little.
So Hana Uzaki was the winner of the last Superstar polling tournament we did on my Discord. As always, the prize for winning is a pic like this one here. The concept is always that the winner chooses someone in the Studio they haven’t worked with before to shoot with. I toyed with some different options for Uzaki-chan, and the main other person I was considering was Nagatoro, since those two get paired up a lot for a few different reasons. While I don’t think Uzaki would have any problems working with Nagatoro, and I’d love to do something with them together eventually, that just didn’t quite feel like the choice she would make to me. Rather, I went to her boyfriend Sakurai, who I’ve established likes to work out with Jun. I thought Uzaki might enjoy getting it hard and deep from her boyfriend’s gym buddy, so that’s the route I went with.
While I think they’re very different in some key ways, there’s a lot of comparisons one could make between Okarun and Deku as protagonists. For this Ask I thought maybe those similarities could be played into, not to pair him up with Deku, but to make him a target for someone who’s got plenty of experience fucking him.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady is Yui from Hell’s Paradise. Yui is a somewhat unique character, as she isn’t actually present during the events of Hell’s Paradise. Her husband, Gabimaru (pictured here with her) is the protagonist, but when we first meet him they’re separated and he ends up on an island where most of the show takes place. Getting back to her is his goal, but we really only see her in flashbacks. Regardless, they have a really cute dynamic and relationship, and I’m happy to reunite them here in the Studio. I’m rather fond of Hell’s Paradise, but this is the first time I’ve done anything with the franchise. However, I do have a couple pics planned for down the road, but I think it’ll be a while before I get to any of them.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of April are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Hell’s Paradise. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. Not too long ago we wrapped up another polling tournament on my SubscribeStar Discord. Like before, 512 characters were pitted against each other over several months, with two finalists coming out in the end. Riza was one of those finalists, losing out to our winner in the finals. Like always, our runner-up gets a pin-up pic, so here she is posing for y’all.
Here’s the second page to our ongoing yuri comic, Galactic Getaway! In this page we move to the location where the rest of the comic will take place, an unspecified alien beach. Since this isn’t based on any specific location from Dragon Ball, I tried to make the colors interesting while also keeping it recognizable as a beach. Since our last yuri comic also took place on a beach I wanted to try and make sure the vibe here didn’t feel too repetitive, but we’ll see how it goes. At the end of the day we’re still dealing with sand, ocean, and a little towel for our girls to have fun on.
The winning February One-Shot was Demon Slayer focused. I actually recently started watching Demon Slayer, but only occasionally. Unfortunately, where I am in the show, really only the four main characters spread through these panels are the only one’s I’ve seen much of (and I already knew them just through my work). In fact, there’s a couple characters here I don’t think I’ve ever even seen before, even in passing. That being said, I did my best to capture them all here. I know there’s been some demand for Tokito from some folks, and there’s been people wanting to see Shinobu again after her Studio debut a while back. I also know that Mitsuri’s a pretty popular character, as I see her around often and always see a bunch of cosplays of her at conventions. So I hope fans of this series will enjoy seeing their ranks fill out a bit more in the Studio.
So we’ve seen Corey and Yuji partner up a few times now. Like he says here, though, Yuji’s kinda the exact opposite of Corey’s usual type, so if he ever did fuck him it’d be purely bred from their friendship over what usually motivates him.
This Scenario is probably going to have less of a broad appeal, but it’s one I personally took a lot of interest in. This is one of the ideas I was considering last month, but since this Subscriber’s had a couple Scenarios I went with the Scooby one instead. This month I did go this way, as Maison Ikkoku’s an older anime I’m quite fond of. I’ve used it a bit in AMV work, and y’all have seen me draw Akemi Roppongi a few times by now. Kyoko Otonashi (center) and Hanae Ichinose (left) are both making their debuts in my work here, and I’m happy to have them. Kyoko’s the female lead of the series, and the manager of the building all the central characters live in. Hanae’s a mother and part of a trio (including Akemi) who frequently get drunk and party together. Both Hanae and Akemi have their own distinct relationship with Kyoko, but this sort of interaction doesn’t feel that far off for them.
Say what you want about Seiko’s stubbornness on this topic… when she’s right, she’s right.
