Yoko is a character I kept meaning to include in First Shoot polls, but kept forgetting about her. Before I really came up in the hentai world, she was a big figure in the community, even being the mascot for some R34 sites, iirc. I’ve never drawn any of Gurren Lagann, though, even though there’s a handful of good characters I remember from that series. For Yoko’s First Shoot she happened to get Kazuki, creating an amusing parallel between her and Yor, who got Toi in her’s.
I’ve been having trouble with Asks lately. I don’t know if it’s just a burnout thing or what, but I’ve been struggling to engage with them in interesting or fun ways like I’d prefer. Until this issue resolves, though, I figured I might as well just stick to Asks I think people will enjoy the art to, so here’s Inosuke and Kirishima.
Bitzi is the other mom from Arthur I’ve drawn before, and I’d been planning to give her an entry in this series ever since doing Jane a while back. I started seeing a lot of memes and the like about the Year of the Rabbit recently, so I figured now was as good a time as any.
There’s a few ways I could’ve gone with this, I think, but in the end I thought an angle like this would be fun. Beerus being purple also allows me to make him recognizeable while not necessarily drawing all of him, something that’s useful for a day like today when I have a lot of other work to get to. For Bererus’ part, the last time I drew him he was fucking a different spritely little green lady, so Peridot might want to be on the lookout.
It’s not always the case that a 1 Club pic has a theme or connection between the participants. However, when I think of one that works while meeting the criteria of the series (a character I’ve only drawn once and a character I’ve drawn ten times or more), then I feel like I need to run with it. Speed-o’-Sound Sonic is a very sexy ninja boy on One-Punch Man, and I feel like I don’t need to explain why I decided to pair him with Sonic the Hedgehog here. I just hope you all enjoy this fun little pairing.

Here is the One-Shot comic for May! As always, this script was submitted by one of my SubscribeStar supporters. The premise of this comic was isolated/nerdy characters putting on webcam shows, although I wasn’t really confident about conveying that premise in this format so I didn’t focus on it. Instead I just kind of went with what felt right to me for each pairing, and I hope y’all will like the results. On the first panel is Futaba from Persona 5, second has Tomoko and her brother from WataMote, third is the main couple from Outbreak Company, and finally we have Ryuunosuke and Rita, the unlikely couple from Sakurasou.
Usually I try not to do Asks that are this direct and flat, but I know there’s some folks who would enjoy this pairing, and I’d like to work Kurapika into more pics if possible. So here we are, sorry if the answer’s a little uninteresting, but I thought Luffy fucking Kurapika would be fun to see.
The twelfth First Shoot rookie is Surge the Tenrec, a character from the Sonic comics. I know this character primarily though her support amongst my Subscribers, since I don’t follow Sonic media, but she seems cool and I like her look. Her random partner here is Satsuki from Ghost Stories, a girl I drew for a Halloween pic in 2021. I’m still working on improving my handling of Sonic characters, but I hope Surge looks alright enough here.
Iruma’s exactly the right type of boy I’m looking for for this series, so it was only a matter of time until he showed up here. I’m hoping to eventually getting around to drawing more of his series, but we’ll see. For now I hope you all enjoy a little blue bunny.
