This is a question that’s been submitted for a while, but I never had a strong idea for how exactly to answer it. I thought it might be cute if Inosuke tried to match his energy, though, so I paired them up for this answer.
So I mentioned a while ago taking a break from the Studio Life Magazine covers, but that I’d be placing a different solo character series in that spot. This is that. This is a combination of a few old ideas, spurred on by a discussion with a Subscriber. The first post kinda explains the premise, but basically this is a hook-up app for heroes and villains looking to do some roleplay in the Studio. I’ve done a few pics already leaning into some characters enjoying this dynamic, so for this series we’ll get to see their profiles. Since there’s three types of ClashMe profiles, I’ll cycle through the types each time, with Subscribers voting on who gets the spotlight. The first one was decided a while ago, but it was for Sailor Venus. Since this is a preliminary run for this series I hope it’ll be fun for y’all, and I’ll be back in about a month with a “damsel” profile.
I had a feeling when I gave the Holloways green hands and feet someone might want to see something like this someday. At any rate, I think Ember’s answer here speaks for itself.
Here’s another scenario submitted by one of my Subscribers. We have another Dragon Ball scenario here, with Vegeta and his father interacting with the Saiya-jins from Universe 6.
It’s been almost a decade since I first drew Near as part of a very old commission, and he’s been in the 1 Club ever since. As the follow-up to L in the anime they replaced L’s love of sweets with a love of toys, which is what’s being discussed here. I figured Near might not have a favorite toy, but he’d still want to show off a little something.
The Near Hentai Monthly Lady for August 2025 is Shuuko Komi, the mother of Shouko Komi from Komi Can’t Communicate. Some folks were surprised I hadn’t drawn her before, but honestly there’s a lot of Komi’s classmates I was interested in before Shuuko that I still haven’t gotten to. She is in my MomSwap queue, though, which is part of why I didn’t pair her with her daughter here. I had a few options, and I’m partial to a lot of stuff I’ve seen of Shuuko with Najimi from other artists. In the end I decided to go with Tadano, though. I think her getting piped by her daughter’s LI is a fun kind of pairing I haven’t done that often, plus Tadano’s been such a good boy in the Studio I figured he deserved a little treat.
With this post, NHML nominations for the month of September are now open. For those who don’t know, I’ll run down the rules real quick. Nominations are limited to one per person. You can nominate any female character you want, provided I have not drawn her within the past calendar year (though I prefer characters I’ve never drawn, period). Previous NHML winners are not eligible for a second time. Nominees must also not be from the same franchise as this month’s winner, Komi Can’t Communicate. If you violate any of those rules, I’ll let you know, and you can nominate someone else. I know it can be hard to keep track of these things. You may nominate by either commenting in the cBox, commenting on this post, or emailing me (Nearphotison2010@yahoo.com). I’ll compile a list of the nominees in the sidebar of this site, and then on September 1st I will use a randomizer to select the winning character who I will proceed to draw sometime that month. We’re seven pages in now, and these four seem to be having fun! Of the submitted scripts I really only felt like one was a natural continuation of the events so far, though there was some submitted stuff I expect will come up soon in future pages.
The One-Shot comic for July 2025 ended up being a tribute to Gurren Laggan. Despite watching and enjoying this show when it originally aired, I’ve barely ever drawn it and everyone but Yoko here is a Studio debut. For consistency’s sake I decided to use the season one designs for everyone, and tried to have some fun with it. The first two pairings here are probably the most obvious ones you could do from this series, with the third panel being a fun sisterly threesome. The last panel is a bit more of a random pairing, I don’t know if Kittan and Letye even interact on screen, but I assume the Subscriber who submitted this script just wanted to make sure both of them got in and had to fit them in somewhere.
I don’t know how much I have to add to this one, other than I had a pretty good idea how to answer it right away. I’m pretty fond of Ymir, so I was happy to get to draw her again here. I have other sketches of these two I’d like to use for finished pieces eventually, but I decided not to use any of them and go with a new drawing for this Ask.
