Rio answered an Ask along these lines a while back, and I think Debbie has a similar perspective. While I do think Amber and Mark would have a better shot in the Studio than their real world, I think Mark and Eve are the “couple,” as much as that’s worth here. Like Rex, though, it’s easy to see Amber often being involved with them, and I always thought Amber and Eve made for good friends. Either way, Debbie seems to be enjoying them both here.
So with that recent Garnet Ask, there was a stage of the process where instead of Ed and Winry she would’ve appeared with Nolan and Debbie. Now, I dropped that idea for a number of reasons, but one of those reasons was I just didn’t think I wanted their first time appearing together in my work to be that. This, however, I think is a fine way for them to have their first Studio appearance together.
This was kind of a spur-of-the-moment pic. I’ve had some stuff planned for Debbie for a while, but it’s all a bit further down on my to-do list. This seemed like something I might could get out relatively quickly, and I just hope y’all enjoy it.
