Crossover

MomSwap – Miyako and Miyabi Shikimori

A little while ago I mentioned having some more Shikimori content lined up, and this is what I was talking about. Miyako Shikimori is the titular love interest of Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie. We only see her mother, Miyabi, briefly in the anime, but I made a note of her as I think she’s got a great look. From what little we see of her, Miyabi comes across as a cold and stern mother, but is actually very supportive and loving. I’ve had these two on my MomSwap list for some time now, and I hope y’all will enjoy seeing them here now.

ClashMe #1 – Sailor Venus

So I mentioned a while ago taking a break from the Studio Life Magazine covers, but that I’d be placing a different solo character series in that spot. This is that. This is a combination of a few old ideas, spurred on by a discussion with a Subscriber. The first post kinda explains the premise, but basically this is a hook-up app for heroes and villains looking to do some roleplay in the Studio. I’ve done a few pics already leaning into some characters enjoying this dynamic, so for this series we’ll get to see their profiles. Since there’s three types of ClashMe profiles, I’ll cycle through the types each time, with Subscribers voting on who gets the spotlight. The first one was decided a while ago, but it was for Sailor Venus. Since this is a preliminary run for this series I hope it’ll be fun for y’all, and I’ll be back in about a month with a “damsel” profile.

Mikasa Ackerman Character Ask 2

This Ask jumped out to me for a couple reasons, which I tried to include here. First, this is just kinda a weird crossover, which I like. Mikasa, for as long as she’s been in the Studio now, still hasn’t picked up on every little fashion trend or whatever from other worlds. I thought her initial misunderstanding would be cute but understandable. I also think this could, potentially, spin into a follow-up Ask or something later if there’s interest. It’d require someone to Ask the right question, but maybe we’ll get to see Mikasa try out a goth look somewhere down the line.

Leave It All On the Court, Page Ten

And with this splash page we officially wrap up “Leave It All On the Court.” I hope people enjoyed this one. This is the second comic I’ve approached in this style, the first being “Closing Time,” and I think they’ve been largely successful comics both in audience reception and in overall turnaround. That being said, while I would like to do more like this, I will probably wait a bit before starting the next one until my schedule clears up a little bit.

Sayaka Kanamori’s First Dare

So beyond the fact that Kanamori gets preferential treatment from me, I immediately knew which Saiya-jin I wanted to pair her with for this Dare. I don’t know exactly why Raditz immediately popped into my head, but it just felt right and I figured we hadn’t seen him in a minute. Also, while she’s exploring a bit in the closing pages of The Eizouken’s Closer, I believe this is her first real anal fucking with Near Hentai Studios.

MomSwap – Nadeshiko, Sakura and Shizuka Kagamihara

I’ve been meaning to get back to Laid-Back Camp in MomSwap for a while now, and I’m happy to finally visit the Kagamiharas. I’ve drawn Nadeshiko and Sakura a few times before, but this is Shizuka’s debut. I think for a lot of ones like this, with more than one daughter, I’d just focus on whoever the “main” one is. In this case, though, Sakura’s a pretty important supporting character and has also been one of the flag bearers for LBC in the Studio. So, I figured she should be involved, too.

Near Fate Roulette #0 – Oliver and Pumyra

So a while ago I had an idea for another game-like SubscribeStar reward I called the Near Fate Roulette. The idea is that Subscribers at a certain tier could all submit two names, one Studio character and one character from outside the Studio. From the full list of all those names I’d then randomly select two characters and pair them up. This was a test-run of the concept and, while I’m happy with this pairing and this pic, I don’t really think it’s gonna work out. The biggest problem is just my already bloated schedule, as this pic took a couple months to get around to and I have no idea how long it’d take me to get to another one. Beyond that there were some other concerns voiced to me by other members that I think were valid, so probably this will be the only installment of this concept.

We were lucky to get one of each type of character for this pairing, though. Oliver’s one of my Applebridge OC’s who’s been in the Studio for a while. Pumyra comes to us from the 2011 version of ThunderCats, and the same Subscriber who props up Cheetara from that show nominated her after months of submitting her for NHML. I’m happy for him that she’s finally made it in, and I hope y’all will enjoy the pic.
