COY stands for Cross Over Yuri. The premise is pretty simple, I have a list I’ve compiled of over 500 cute girls from various anime and manga. I then use a random number generator to make pairing, which I then draw. Every third picture is a threesome.
Hah, I love this pic. Looking back, the coloring’s a bit amateurish, but I just love the dynamic between these two. You just know Judy was expecting some sweet shota lovin’, and ended up with a reverse-trap instead. I’m sure that didn’t stop her, though…

Once again, I’m afraid this is a case of my reach over extending my boundaries. I really wanted this pic to be awesome, Amara Tenoh (Haruka Tenoh) is my absolute favorite Sailor Scout, and I really love Kannagi, too. Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready (and, indeed, may still not be) for a pose like this. All things considered, it turned out alright. It definitely could have been a lot worse. Still, I’d love to this pic done better justice some day…

If someone were to ask me to choose a pic in my history that marks the turn where I could divide the old pics from the new, it would be this one. I was so terribly disappointed with the last couple COYs, and some of my other work, too, that this one was a blessing to me at the time. Looking back, it’s far from my best work. And yet, I still think it stands out. I was just starting to get the hang of real good, clean linework (not quite there yet, but this was a start), and it was the first pic where I really experimented with colored lighting. I’m also pretty fond of the pose, particularly Michelle (Michiru). Usually I have trouble with women in this position and, while this one isn’t perfect, it’s better than my other attempts at the time.
Also, as a side not, I absolutely love Sarah Adiemus, and intend to revisit her somewhere down the road.

Man, did I drop the ball on this one. Ukitsu is by far my favorite character in Ikkitousen, so I was really looking forward to expanding the R34 on her. Well, I did, but this pic just sucks. I’m so unhappy with it, looking back. Still, though, it’s my intent to upload all of the COYs onto this blog, so here it is. I will definitely be revisiting Ukitsu sometime down the road, if not this same pairing.

From an artistic perspective, this is not my best work. However, I still like this piece, as it’s one of the few times where I’ve really explored how the crossover would turn out. I think I managed to get a pretty good feel for a sexual relationship between these three, and it’s a lot funnier than it is sexy. What’cha gonna do?

Man, this was a missed opportunity. I just had no inspiration for this pairing, but surely I could have come up with better than this, right… ?

This was a complicated piece. Not because of anything with the image itself, but because I got into quite a tiffle with Gelbooru over it. Apparently, it didn’t meet their quality standards because Videl’s mouth, quote, “Looks like a Goomba.” Whatever. For some reason, their policy against allowing Western artists never came up, though.
Interestingly enough, though, I saw this pic on Gelbooru several months later. It was up for quite a while before someone realized I wasn’t Japanese and had it taken down. During that time, it received an extremely high rating and had several very positive comments, probably more than it deserved. Go figure.
