Since this scenario’s expanding on a panel from the most recent Studio Christmas party, I thought it’d be fun to tie it in to another panel from that party. I know this one’s maybe a little more PG-13 than I usually do, but I just had this interaction in my head and thought it’d be cute.
As has become tradition, here is a compilation of some moments from this year’s Studio Christmas party. Hiro Hamada won the lottery to get chosen as the official Studio Santa this year, but as you can see he’s not the only one sporting the look. I had a lot of fun putting together this year’s party, and I tried to fit in an eclectic selection of characters. I hope there’s a little something for most everyone here, and I’d like to wish you all Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas.
This year’s Studio Santa is the first male winner we’ve had for these holiday character raffles. We don’t see Hiro super often, but I feel like he’s well-received whenever he does appear so I hope people will enjoy seeing him this holiday season.
Continuing the new tradition I started last year, for Christmas this year I want to take a little look at the annual Near Hentai Studios Christmas Party. A couple of these panels were ideas I had last year but couldn’t do, either because I ran out of space or because the character(s) I wanted to use hadn’t publicly debuted yet. Others are just ideas off the top of my head this year, and hopefully we got a fun mix of appeals. Also we get to see our 2023 Studio Santa again, and I immediately had this idea for how Scorpia would work in this role, which I think is fun. At any rate, I hope most of you can enjoy at least one of these panels, and I’m already looking forward to trying out more ideas next year!
Every year I randomly select a member of the Studio to be our “Studio Santa”. This is the third year we’ve done this now, and this year’s winner was Scorpia from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Scorpia’s a real gem in that show, and I’m quite fond of her, but her unique anatomy has deterred me from doing more pics with her. I think she makes a good Santa, though, especially since her default color scheme already kinda fits the theme. We’ll see her again at the Studio Christmas Party, but for now I hope y’all will enjoy this little pin-up.
Last year I finished my ongoing series of Mace and Jackie’s Christmas Carol, so this year I was in search of something to replace it. I went through a few ideas, but none of them felt quite right, until I hit on this. A few years ago I had the idea of an ongoing comic set in a Studio orgy, basically jumping from place to place within the orgy without any real story or anything. I didn’t think the idea had the legs for a regular comic, but I’ve kind of reworked the concept here. So, every year for Christmas, I’d like to do a little montage comic like this one highlighting a few little scenes from that year’s Studio Christmas Party. I think this series could be fun, and I hope y’all will enjoy it. I started this one late because I was having trouble coming up with a concept, so once I had it I just drew the first few ideas I had. Unfortunately, none of them ended up being yaoi, but I’ll try to rectify that next year. In the meantime, please enjoy and Happy Holidays!
Last year I started a new annual tradition for Christmas, of using a randomizer to pick one character from the full Studio roster who’ll do a sexy Santa pin-up. Last year’s Santa was Jody Crowley, who’d just debuted not long before that, but this time it’s someone I drew over a decade ago in 2011, Rose Thomas. Her only other appearance so far was also for a series driven by random selection, the Crossover Yuri series where random girls from a list of characters got paired up. I think she fits the Santa look surprisingly well, and since I never liked how her original pic turned out it’s nice to take another (more successful) stab at her now.
For the past few years, I’ve been piecemeal releasing parts for this series based on seeing Mace and Jackie in the story of A Christmas Carol. When I originally had the idea for this gimmick years ago, I kinda figured I’d close with Mace and Jackie fucking a loli version of Tiny Tim while she says Tim’s famous closing line. Now in 2021, though, I feel like that’s kinda a weak finish to the series as it’s been presented, so I decided to go this route instead. Rather than genderswapping Tim, he instead gets to join Mace and Jackie for a big finale where we bring back the three main ghost girls from the previous entries. I feel like, for what this series has been, this is a more satisfying climax. I hope you all like it, and Merry Christmas!
