Last year I started a new Halloween tradition. Mirroring the annual Studio Santa pin-up, one Studio member gets randomly selected to show off their Halloween costume for that year. The winner this time was Arlene Wilcox, a one-episode Scooby-Doo character, and I had this idea for a scene that I thought would be more interesting than a regular pin-up. I don’t expect to do this kind of thing too often with these series, but I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity for what I thought would be a fun little pic.
So this Ask is a simple one just revisiting Yusuke’s last Ask. I figured since there’s practically zero chance of me drawing more Yusuke and Sasuke any other way, using this follow-up Ask to move past a blowjob with be alright.
And, for anyone interested, here is the Q&A video I did for Subscribers last month:
In this Halloween episode of Johnny Bravo, Johnny meets a mad scientist putting together this undead beauty. Due to Johnny’s physique the scientist want to use his body to make another undead creature, her husband, with the joke of the episode obviously being the monster runs away from Johnny rather than what you’d usually expect. What’s interesting about this Bravo girl is she, to my knowledge, is the only one to actually marry Johnny, as we see them as a bitter married couple for the episode’s closing gag. Maybe there were some other instances where Johnny tied the knot with someone, I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of the show, but at the very least I think him getting with her is much closer to canon than it would be for most of the ladies who appeared in his show.
I decided to go with Butterfree for the next Near Pokédex entry, and decided to take something from the anime. Now, this color scheme is not Butterfree’s official colors, nor their shiny colors. It’s also not part of Butterfree’s sexual dimorphism (although female Butterfree do have slightly different wing patterns). Rather, this version of Butterfree comes from some early adaptational weirdness in the Pokémon anime. You see, in an early episode Ash’s Butterfree meets a girl and leaves him to go presumably have tons of butterfly sex. Since Pokémon was still new and didn’t have as much established rules, the creators just made the Butterfree pink so the audience would know Ash’s Butterfree wasn’t gay. This weird miscolored Butterfree has returned a few times since then, but as far as I know she’s the only one in the whole world with this coloring. Like with female Charizard’s bow, though, I wanted to take something from the anime for my entry, so here she is.
The Hills and the Souphanousinphones have a really cute dynamic in King of the Hill, I think. Peggy and Minh I like especially, and I kinda wish we got to see more of them interacting just the two of them. I’m hoping to pair Peggy up with a few different characters at some point or another, and I have plans for both of these ladies to work with younger relatives eventually, but getting them together in this Ask seemed fun and I didn’t want to pass it up.
So this is a new reward I’m testing out for my $20 tier on SubscribeStar. The idea is that Subscribers at this level or above can submit to me scenario ideas, little story-based scenes involving characters within the Studio (though they don’t have to be set in the Studio, like this one is). Each month I’ll choose one that interests me and do my interpretation of the concept. Since this is a test run, how people respond to the concept (both in and outside the tier) will help me decide if it’s something I want to try and keep doing every month.
For this idea I thought it’d be funny if Gojo was just annoying Nanami while he tried to relax with Tiana. That makes this one sort-of a sequel or epilogue to Closing Time. I thought maybe some folks might enjoy seeing this pairing return with a slight twist.
